What kind of product or service is it?
Log in is a versatile organiser that can be placed on a bookshelf or desk, for example. You can rest your smartphone on it when you want to focus on reading a book. It can also be used it to tidy up your desk. There is no single correct use for Log in; the only limit is your imagination!
The wood material used in the product is a by-product/optimisation waste from Kontiotuote Oy’s log house factory.
How is the solution related to the circular economy?
Currently, this type of highly processed wood material is mainly used for energy production in Finland, but much of it has greater potential, for example, as furniture and interior design items. Aisbois wants to extend the life cycle of materials by creating durable, high-quality products.
